Step-by-Step Sprint Triathlon Training Plan (Beginner) – 14 Weeks
14 Week Sprint Triathlon Training Plan designed for athletes who have completed 0-2 Sprint Triathlons.
This 14 Week Training Plan is specifically designed for athletes who are participating in a Sprint Triathlon. The ideal athlete will have completed 0-2 sprint triathlons but may have experience with one of the 3 disciplines - though that isn't required. The athlete should be able to swim continuously for at least 100 yards, bike 10 miles and can run 2 miles.The plan will lead the athlete through the full 14 weeks balancing a build in endurance for the 3 sports, as well as active recovery weeks and ultimately lead up to race day!
